The business partnership between TAO Corporation and NOKIA Philippines signaled the beginning of Altus Communications Incorporated on February 12, 2007. Altus Communications, Inc. gained accreditation from Nokia Philippines as a distributor of mobile devices in March 2007. In November 2010, Altus was then acclaimed as “Distributor of the Year 2010” for the entire Southeast Asia & Pacific Region by Nokia.
