About Snaptech

Snaptech’s business is divided into two segments. The first segment is focused on Machine-to-Machine Solutions while the second segment, via its Citywatch service, is focused on Emergency Response.

Note that this July 2011, Citywatch will be spun-off to create Citywatch, Inc. This will enable both companies to focus on their core competencies and work on high-growth areas.

The business model of Snaptech, Inc. is both Trade Sale or Subscription-based or both. Clients may opt to just purchase the devices and monitor it themselves or engage Snaptech to monitor these devices for them for a monthly fee.

Products

  • Snaptrak Vehicle Tracking System

    It is a Global Positioning System (GPS)-based tracking system to enable clients to manage and secure their vehicle. With the use of Snaptech’s HUDS24 Unified Monitoring Software, clients can track on a digitized map any asset nationwide. HUDS24 also includes modules for real-time monitoring, car trace/snail trail, geo-fencing and zone mapping, alert prioritization, and report generation. If subscribed to Citywatch, police response is requested to respond hijacking incidents and accidents.  With Citywatch, clients have experienced an 80%-100% reduction in hijacking incidents and a 100% response to accidents.

  • Nokia GPS phone tracker

    As a Nokia distributor, Snaptech works with Altus Communications to distribute phones with installed tracking software. With this bundled solution, clients can monitor the whereabouts of key personnel and enforce compliance to dispatch instructions.

  • Fixed Asset Manager (FAM)

    It is a device platform that can connect to analog and digital metering and sensing devices and send data to a back-end application via GPRS and SMS. Specific applications are temperature monitoring, movement detection and alarm, remote switching, fault detection and usage reading.

  • Hongdian Industrial Router

    Exclusively distributed by Snaptech, Hongdian routers are designed to operate 24/7 and in outdoor conditions. Hongdian’s range of routers (GPRS, EDGE and 3G) can cater to remote connectivity requirements of ATMs, Lotto Machines, POS terminals and other transaction machines that need stable internet connection anywhere in the Philippines. Todate, Snaptech has sold over 3,500 Hongdian routers.

  • Citywatch Emergency Response Service

    It is a service aimed at protecting lives and property. With the tie-up with the Philippine National Police and other government emergency responders, Citywatch can dispatch the appropriate agency to respond to emergencies related to security, safety and medical. Citywatch ERS is manned by competent personnel to handle various type of emergencies. Registered Nurses and Emergency Medical Technicians perform Emergency Medical Dispatch while Safety & Security Dispatchers are performed by highly-trained personnel.

  • Device Monitoring Service

    It is a service to allow clients to operate and manage their M2M devices without building their own infrastructure and manpower base. Snaptech’s 24/7 monitoring center allows clients to receive mission-critical information that they can act upon immediately. And because it is IP and GSM-based, devices can be installed and used anywhere in the Philippines while being monitored from a central location. This cost-efficiency allows for small to enterprise-wide deployments.
